My passion for preventative health started at a young age when I was diagnosed with eczema. I didn’t want to use steroid medications or topical creams so I found my own natural ways of curing my eczema through food therapy and non-toxic all natural topical creams. Later in life my younger sister was diagnosed with cancer and after her passing I realized my purpose in life was changing. I realized I needed to feed my soul differently, which led me to leave my corporate job and enroll in a master’s program of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I love what I do and my passion lies in being a guide to those searching to heal. I love working with patients who are just as passionate about improving their health. Dr. Jennifer Godinez, DACM, L.Ac.
Dr. Godinez is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with a clinical focus on pain management, mental and emotional health, and women’s health. She treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, supporting patients in reducing pain, improving function, and restoring overall well-being.
She works closely with patients experiencing stress, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation, recognizing the close relationship between emotional health and physical pain. This integrated approach allows for more effective and sustainable treatment outcomes.
With a background in both acupuncture and therapeutic bodywork, Dr. Godinez utilizes an evidence-informed, individualized approach to care. Treatment plans are designed to support pain relief, improved mobility, nervous system regulation, and long-term functional outcomes.
Dr. Godinez holds a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science and provides care to patients in San Diego and Los Angeles.
Ramtin (Ram) Dehkhoda
I am the founder and lead practitioner at San Diego Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture with extensive experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have a holistic healing approach with a focus on finding root causes. Most of my patients have been with me for over a decade and I have had the privilege of helping them out on their journey through life. From the treatment of serious conditions to minor injuries it has been my pleasure to serve my community.
